TheTrustedTMR24VdcAnalogueInputmoduleinterfacesto40sourcingfieldinputdevices,acting
asacurrentsinkforallthesedevices.Comprehensivediagnostictestsareperformedoneachinput
channel.FaulttoleranceisachievedthroughaTripleModularRedundant(TMR)architecturewithinthe
moduleforeachofthe40inputchannels.
Usingthebuilt-inline-monitoringfeature,themodulecandetectopenandshortedfieldcables.Line
monitoringfunctionsareindependentlyconfiguredforeachinputchannel.
Themoduleprovideson-boardSequenceofEvents(SOE)reportingwitharesolutionof1ms.A
changeofstatetriggersanSOEentry.Statesaredeterminedbyvoltagethresholdsthatcanbe
configuredonaperchannelbasis.Whenthefieldvoltageandfieldreturnareconnectedtothe
auxiliaryinputchannelsofthemodule,thresholdscanbespecifiedasaratioofthefieldsupplyvoltage.
