Marketingisanapplieddisciplinebasedoneconomicscience,behavioralscienceandmodernmanagementtheory.Undertheconditionsofamarketeconomy,marketingtheories,methods,andtechniquesarenotonlywidelyappliedtoenterprisesandvariousnon-profitorganizations,butgraduallyappliedtovariousaspectsofsocialandeconomiclifeatthemicroandmacrolevels.Thepurposeofmarketingactivitiesistoguideacertaintypeorcommodity(includinglabor)fromproducerstoconsumersorusersthroughacertainsocialmarketingsystem,meetsocialneeds,andachievethegoalofmaximizingenterpriseprofits.
