1.SCOPE
Scopeofthisdocumentistoillustratethestep-by-stepdisassemblyprocessofABBSACETmaxXTXT2
mouldedcasecircuitbreakerequippedwithathermomagnetictripunit.
DocumentisfocusedonTmaxXTXT23pIECversion,anywayitallowstocoverotherversionsofTmax
XTXT2circuitbreakerequippedwithathermomagnetictripunitwithjustfewslightdifferencestobe
takenintoaccount.
2.SAFETYNOTES
Beforeproceedingwithanydisassemblyoperation,it’smandatorytoputthecircuitbreakerinopen
position.
Disassemblyoperationsofcircuitbreakersmustbeperformedbyqualifiedandskilledpersonnelin
theelectricalfield(IEV195-04-01:personwithrelevanteducationandexperiencetoenablehimorher
toperceiverisksandtoavoidhazardswhichelectricitycancreate)andhavingadetailedknowledgeof
circuitbreakers.
Disassemblyactivitesmustbeperformedinanergonomicworkspaceabletoensureprotectionofper-
sonsdemandedtoperformdisassemblyactivities.
Applicablenationallegislationandinternationalstandardsinforceatthetimeofdisassemblyofcircuit
breakersmustbetakenintoaccountinadditiontoprescriptionsillustratedinthisdocument.
ABBdeclinesanyresponsibilityforinjurytopeopleordamagetopropertyresultingfromafailureto
