MedialSign:Thissign,definedasanydisruptionofthemedialcortexatthesubcapitalfemuronAPradiographs,maypresentasanirregularlybrokenline,rarefaction,orunsmoothtransitionoftheinferiorborderfromthefemoralnecktothehead(Figure2).

AnteriorSign:Thissignwasdefinedasanydisruptionoftheanteriorcortexatthesubcapitalfemuronlateralradiographs.Presentationofteninvolvedthepresenceofdoublerimsofthecortexabovethegreatertrochanter(Figure3).

PosteriorSign:Thissign,definedasanydisruptionoftheposteriorcortexatthesubcapitalfemuronlateralradiographs,maybeseenasasmallstepping,milddisplacement,orlossofcircularityofthefemoralhead(Figure4).
