changeasakeydevelopmentchallenge.Itincreaseditsclimate

adaptationandmitigationinvestmentsto$23billionin2021,

supportingprojectsthatpromoterenewableenergy,climate-smart

agriculture,andresilientinfrastructureinvulnerablecountries.

3.HumanCapitalDevelopment:Recognizingtheimportanceof

investinginhumancapital,theWorldBanklaunchedtheHuman

CapitalProjectin2021.Throughthisinitiative,itsupported

countriesinimprovinghealthcare,education,andsocialprotection

systemstoenhancetheskillsandproductivityoftheirpopulations.

4.FinancialInclusion:TheWorldBankexpandeditseffortsto

promotefinancialinclusionin2021.Itprovidedtechnical

assistancetocountriesforthedevelopmentofdigitalpayment

systems,accesstocredit,andfinancialliteracyprograms,
