Introduction

ProgrammingIanguagesarecreatedtoexpressideas,usuallyinvolvinglogicandcalculation.Inadditiontotheseobjectives,theDynamotextuallanguage(formerlyDesignScript)hasbeencreatedtoexpressdesignintentions.Itisgenerallyrecognizedthatcomputationaldesigningisexploratory,andDynamotriestosupportthis:wehopeyoufindtheIanguageflexibleandfastenoughtotakeadesignfromconcept,throughdesigniterations,toyourfinalform.

Thismanualisstructuredtogiveauserwithnoknowledgeofeitherprogrammingorarchitecturalgeometryfullexposuretoavarietyoftopicsinthesetwointersectingdisciplines.Individualswithmoreexperieneedbackgroundsshouldjumptotheindividualsectionswhicharerelevanttotheirinterestsandproblemdomain.Eachsectionisself-contained,anddoesn”trequireanyknowledgebesidestheinformationpresentedinpriorsections.
