Plant 01. Apply knowledge of plant classification, plant anatomy and plant physiology to the production and management of plants.
□ The student will be able to identify 5 plant families that are important to humans from a provided list.

Describe the major characteristics of all plants.
Describe the four major divisions of plants (Bryophyta, Pterophyta, Coniferophyta, Anthophyta) identifying them as nonvascular or vascular, then identify vascular plants as angiosperms or gymnosperms, monocots and dicots.
The student will be able to label and diagram the parts of the flower using the vocabulary words below.
