Lesson 3 Happy Teachers Day Teaching Content: 1. New words: 动词短语 practise English, have a party, celebrate Christmas, do sport, make a card, tell a story. 2. Learning: 对话，教师节的有关情况，句子句首字母的大写，对字母组合“oa”和“ow”的自然拼读。 : 对正在发生的事情进行描述。 Teaching Aims: 1. 通过教学对话，培养学生的听力及表达能力。 2. 通过制作教师节卡片及搜集教师节祝福语，了解我国教师节和外国教师节的有关情况，养成尊敬教师的品德和行为习惯。 3. 能够熟练运用所学句型对正在进行的事情进行描述。 4. 通过对大小写字母的教学，掌握英语中句首字母应大写的拼写规则。 5. 能够熟练拼读与字母组合“oa”和“oe”相关单词，扩大词汇量。 Key and difficult points： 1. 对本课短语的识记、发音和应用。 2. 熟练的使用现在进行时态。 3. 了解有关教师节的历史。 4. 掌握英语中句子的首字母应大写的拼写规则。 Teaching Preparations: 本课单词卡片；与单词对应的事物，录音机 The first Period Teaching steps： Step 1: Revision 1. Read the text of Lesson 2 together. 2. Revise the subjects:English. 3. Ask and answer: What are you doing? What is he/she doing? Where is the library? Step 2: Presentation 1. Translate into English: 吹蜡烛，点蜡烛，吃水果， 许愿 Then put “ing” add these expressions: lighting the candles, blowing out the candles, eating fruit, making a wish. Then read the new words together and practice with: ---What are they doing ? ---They are lighting the candles. Ask some pupils to show their conversations 2. Magic box:practise English练习英语, have a party举行聚会, celebrate Christmas庆祝圣诞节, play a game玩游戏, tell a joke讲笑话, tell a story讲故事. Read the words for the pupils and ask them to read after me. Help them with the pronunciation. Then ask some pupils to show their pronunciations. At last have the pupils read the new words together. Then teach the other new words in this ways.
