Emotional aims: 1) Students will be willing to introduce family members properly in English to others in their daily life and thus they will be more interested in learning and using English . Important and difficult points: points 1) Master new words, phonetic symbols and sentence patterns. Points: 1) Remember the spelling of new words and pronunciation of phonetic symbols. 2) Use this/that /these/those sentence parterns to introduce family members properly. Step2 Pre-listening task [ 15 minutes ] to learn new words and phonetic symbols. guide students to observe more family photos and teach words of family members one by one by asking the question “who is this/ that and who are these/those?” Write new words on the blackboard and underline key letters to show their phonetic symbols.
