Unit4 Where’s my schoolbag? Teaching Objectives: 1. Students will grasp some new words and phrases: hat; head; desk; Come on; I think… ; their. 2. Students are able to use Yes/No questions to ask and use “in” “on” “under” to describe where things are. 3. Students will develop their language skills of listening, reading and writing. 4. Students will learn to put things in order so as to develop a good living habit in their daily life. Teaching Difficult and Key Point: To learn to use preposition “in” “on” “under” and Yes/No questions to identify where things are. Teaching Procedures: 1. Pre-listening (6min) (1) Revision (3min) Look at the picture in 1a and answer questions: T: Who is this boy? Unit4 Where Unit4 Where’s my schoolbag? A: Where is/are…? B: It’s/ They’re in/ on/ under… T: Let’s see where Tom’s things are. Where is his pencil box? (板书句型) S: It’s in his schoolbag. (板书句型) T: Where are his books? (板书句型) S: They’re on the sofa. (板书句型) T: Where is his computer game? S: It’s under his bed. (板书句型) (2) Look at the pictures in 2a. (3min) T: What are these/those? S: They’re books. T: What’s this/that? S: It’s a computer game/ ruler/pencil box/schoolbag. 2. While-listening (12min) (1) Listen and number the things 1-6. 听录音,为物品编号。(2a) (3min) Read the title together. Then listen. Students should pay attention to these key words. Ask 5 students to share their answers. For example: The computer game is in number 1. S: The books are in number2. S: The pencil box is in number 3.
