Make sure the Ss have mastered all the words. 2. Then finish Ex1 in Self check to group the words. Step 2 Oral practice 1. Show a chart to the Ss and lead them to talk about Jim. Practice the conversation in pairs. Step 3 Writing Task1: Complete the passage with the words in the box. Check the answers. Practice reading the passage. Then draw a picture of Paul`s family.
