Piano accompaniment and vocal music in China have strong local style and characteristics, and are still in the process of development. This paper focuses on the increasingly important role of piano accompaniment in vocal music singing. First of all, piano accompaniment plays an important role in vocal music singing, and plays an important realistic role in correcting the pitch and shaping the image. Secondly, the key role of piano accompaniment is realized by virtue of three artistic characteristics: harmony beauty, melody beauty and artistic conception beauty.
