Instructions / Assembly: Using Card Stock paper, print all pages one-sided. Cut out each page of the book. There are t wo per sheet of paper. Cut out each interactive piece on page 3 of this download. Place a blank white piece of card stock behind each page as you laminate it forming a “pocket” in bet ween. Laminate the interactive pieces and cut out. Af ter laminating, use a sharp blade to cut a slit in the top page at the edge of the basket. Do not cut through the back page of the “pocket”. Bind the book with loose leaf rings or comb binding/coil machine. For use in therapy: Read the sentence aloud to the student who is working on positional language and answering “What” or “Where” questions. Allow the student to slide the interactive piece into the slit in the basket. Model appropriate language for the student to repeat: “The chick is IN the basket.” Ask questions: “What is IN the basket?” or “Where is the chick?”.
