摘要 电子技术的飞速发展和汽车相关法规(节能、安全、排放)的建立，促进了汽车控制技术的形成与发展，作为汽车重要组成部分的发动机已进入了电子控制化的时代。汽车发动机电控技术在给发动机带来了控制的精确性、系统的稳定性、燃油消耗的经济性和排放的环保性等优点的同时，也给发动机故障检测诊断带来了困难。本文就是针对这一问题深入探讨汽油发动机电子控制系统结构，功能，工作原理，以及相应系统的检测诊断方法，流程。 本文阐述了汽油发动机电子控制系统的基本组成、工作原理及其发展趋势，分析了汽油发动机电子控制系统出现故障以后，如何利用人工和各种仪器对其进行检测诊断。重点研究了汽油电控发动机各种常见故障(发动机不能起动、发动机起动困难、怠速不良、加速不良、动力不足、减速不良、油耗过大、点火不正常、发动机进气管回火、排气管放炮、发动机喘抖、发动机间歇熄火、温度异常、排气管冒黑烟)的故障现象、故障原因、故障的诊断排除方法，最后根据分析研究和实际工作经验概括总结出了汽油发动机电子控制系统故障检测诊断的技巧和基本原则，检测诊断的一般程序。 关键词：发动机，电子控制系统，故障，检测，诊断 Abstract The rapid development of electronic technology and the construction of vehicle laws (save on energy、safety、emissions) is promoting the development of vehicle control technology．As an important part of vehicle，the engine was entered into an era of electronic control．The electronic technology of engine brings many advantages that are accuracy of control，stability of system，economization of fuel consumption and environmental protection of emissions? Meanwhile brings disadvantage That the check and diagnosis of breakdown．The article researched mainly The check and diagnosis of electronic control system of petrol engine． The article stated the basic composition and principle and development trend of electronic control system of petrol engine，analyzed how to getting on check and diagnosis by using manpower and all kinds of instruments when the system broke down．It researched mainly phenomenon and reasons and methods of differential commonly breakdown of petrol engine．It composed that engine cannot run, running is difficult，idle isn’t good，increase power isn’t enough，reduction not normal，fuel consumption is too more，ignition isn’t normal，back firing in intake manifold，exhaust explosion．Engine shake，intermittent ignition，temperature isn’t normal，exhaust manifold belch smoke．Finally the article summarized the skills and basic principles and general sequence of check and diagnosis of electronic control system of petrol engine． KEYWORDS：engine ,the electronic control system ,break
