Record No. : 2816_1999 HG/T 3088-1999 Preface This standard is not equivalent to Japanese Industrial Standard JIS D 4601—1988 Rubber Sealing Strips of Windows for Buses and the revised Chemical Industry Standard HG/T 3088-1987 in combination with domestic practical conditions. The main differences between this standard and JISD 4601 are as follows: -- Hardness level 50 ± 5 is added; -- Dimensional tolerance will vary； -- Contents of sponge rubber sealing strips are added. Changes of technical contents between this standard and HG/T 3088—1987 are as follows: -- Chapter Type and Dimension in the original standard is deleted; -- Both cold and heat resistant sizing materials and their performance indexes in the original standard are deleted; -- Hardness level 50 ± 5 is added; -- Weather aging performance index is added. This standard will substitute HG/T 3088-1987 from the date of execution. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix. This standard is proposed by Division of Technical Supervision of the original Ministry of Chemical Industry of P.R.C.
