Teaching aims and demands:
Students are supposed to learn the following four-skill words: living room, study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom.
Students are supposed to learn the chant:
Go to the living room, watch TV. Go to the study, read a book. Go to the kitchen, have a snack. Go to the bedroom, have a sleep. Go to the bathroom, take a shower.
Teaching difficulties:
Students are supposed to learn the following four-skill words: living room, study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom.

Teaching procedure:
Step1. Warm up
Say hello to the class. The teacher introduces myself. “I’m your new friend, Miss Wang. Now I invite you to my home.”
Step2 Presentation
Show the photo of my home. “This is my home.” Ask the Ss to read the word “home” . “Welcome to my home. I’ll invite you to visit my home. Look, How many rooms are there in my home?” (Five rooms) Ask the Ss to count the rooms like this: Room1, Room2, Room3, Room4, Room5.
“Now let’s go to Room1. What can you see in the picture?” (I can see a sofa, a TV…) “So this is my living room.” Show the flashcard and Ss following the teacher to read the word “living room”. Ss clap their hands at the same time. Ask a team of students to read the word one by one. “What can we do in the living room? We can watch TV.” “ Go to the living room, watch TV.” Ss repeat after the teacher. (The teacher reads the chant and pretends to watch TV at the same time.) Then ask some students to read the sentence individually.
Teach “study, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, Go to the study, read a book. Go to the kitchen, have a snack. Go to the bedroom, have a sleep. Go to the bathroom, take a shower.” in the same way.
Step3 Practice
