Ltd., Guangzhou 510420, China) Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinas economy and the great investment in road traffic construction, the number and mileage of the highway tunnel are increasing rapidly. In the investigation of the mainte- nance of the tunnel, it is found that the second lining cracks of the tunnel have become a common phenomenon. The tunnel two lining concrete cracks will have a lot of bad effects on the force, drainage and appearance of the structure, so we must have an objective and comprehensive understanding of the cracks, analyze its causes accurately, and take effective measures to reduce the formation of the cracks from the design and construction aspects. In order to reduce the influence of two lining concrete cracks on the tunnel, the prevention and treatment methods of cracks are put for- ward, and the treatment of cracks in tunnel lining is discussed.
