With the development of the times, the new trend has appeared everywhere, the memorial landscape also shows diverse styles different from the past, and its intertwined with many traits, such as landscape art, place spirit, historical significance and spatial planning. The development of memorial landscape records the history of human civilization,which represents the different period of ideal, pursuit and act.Currently, how memorial landscape and urban park green space can been better integration has attracted academic attention and discussion. At the same time, as the entrance of study the design of modern landscape, the memorial landscape research has a very important practical significance. The Paper used three methods to research memorial landscape design for the various aspects of the system combing and researching,which is literature study, cases study method and field survey research methods.From the basic research of monumental landscape, interpreted the concept, types and characteristics of memorial landscape,analyzing the typical domestic and foreign cases,explored modern and contemporary trends of memorial landscape.On this basis,expand on the memorial landscape elements of analysis,modern commemorative landscape design principles and the method of design, highlighting the commemorative characteristics must coexist with the public characteristics.
