The Origin Of Lanzhou Beef Noodles Lanzhou Beef Noodles(Stretched Noodles) is the most famous local dish in Lanzhou. It was first created during the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1875 - 1908), Qing Dynasty (1616 - 1911) and it is now popular all over China. Lanzhou beef noodle is the most distinctive popular economy snacks. It has a history of 85 years, the gen uine Lanzhou beef noodle is founded in 1915 by the hui people called Mabaozi. Mabaozi’s home was very poor at that time, in order to make a living ,he made a hot pot beef noodles at home and then peddled in the streets. Later, he put the beef and sheep’s liver into the soup ,it smells and taste good and every body like ed it. Then he opened his own shop, and think out a strategies into the store a bowl of free soup ,When the guests was coming into the door the buddy serving a bowl of soup at once. Therefore Mabaozi’s beef noodles became famous. He did the business until 1925 when his son took over the shop who called Majiesan. The features “Clear” It’s a kind of plain soup noodles, what’s wonderful is the TANG Qing-face show. The beef plain soup is difficult to boil. You can’t add water repeatedly. And the soup is the mark of the Lanzhou noodles. “White” The white refers to the radish. Don’t look down upon it, it will mask the strong flavor of the meat and offer some temporary respite from the heat. “Red” “Red” means the chili oil that water on the noodles. It’s oil-riched, good taste and mellow.
