Abstract: The lo ation sele tion of logisti s distribut ion enter is of strategi signifi an e to logisti s sy stem opt imizing.
Based on analy sis of traditional lo ation sele t ion algorithms of logisti s dist ribution ent er, an algorithm based on GIS and ge
neti algorithm is established. First, the lo ation sele tion and its influen e fa tors are determined; then influen e fa tors of lo a
t ion sele tion are analyzed by means of GIS spatial analy sis te hniques, a serial of andidate sites are obtained; at last the best lo
ation was obtained based on genet i algorithm, and the ase study show s that the algorithm is feasible.
