ii ii 摘要 21 世纪的中国是一个处于多元文化语境下的发展中国家。因此，在跨文化交 际中，如何发挥翻译的积极作用，协调与其他文化的关系，是每个翻译理论工作 者和译者应该积极思考的问题。当代翻译研究已不再纠缠于具体“怎么译”的问题， 而开始关注“谁译”的人文价值。现阶段翻译伦理是翻译研究领域的一大热点。对 这一领域的研究可以使我们在国际文化交流中能够更加自如的处理与他者文化的 关系。 本文以翻译伦理为指导，以《围城》英译本为典例，指出目前很少有论文从翻 译伦理的角度来系统探讨《围城》英译本反映的伦理差异，故对于这一课题的研 究应给予一定的重视。 本文以珍妮.凯丽和茅国权合译的《围城》为个例，分别从文化礼仪的差异、语体 风格的差异、伦理道德的差异、民族文化形象的差异四个方面探讨文学翻译汉译 英中的伦理差异，并辅以例子进行分析，从而论证了翻译伦理运用于文学翻译中 的必要性，以及在翻译伦理的指导下如何分析《围城》英译本反应的伦理差异。 其目的是加强译者尊重差异的伦理意识，推动翻译伦理不断发展。 关键词：翻译伦理；《围城》英译本；伦理差异 i i ABSTRACT With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization, the cooperation and communication between China and other countries become more frequent. As a result, in cross-cultural communication, how to produce a positive effect in translation and how to harmonize the relationship between our culture and foreign cultures are important for every translator. Today, translation research is concentrated on “who translates” not “how to translate”. So translation ethics is a hot issue in modern translation research. This will not only enrich our theoretical study in translation ethics but also help communicate with foreigners smoothly and successfully. Based on translation ethics and the English version of Fortress Besieged, the present author of the thesis indicates that there are few studies applying the theory of translation ethics to research the ethics of difference in C-E translation of Fortress Besieged recently, so it is very important to do research in this area. On the basis of the English version of Fortress Besieged translated by Jeanne Kelly and Nathan K.Mao and from the aspects of manners, literary styles, cultural images of nations and ethics, the thesis tries to explore the ethics of difference in C-E literary translation. It demonstrates that the application of translation ethics in C-E literary translation is necessary; moreover, it illustrates how to analyze the ethics of difference in C-E translation of Fortress Besieged, and expects to improve the translator’s ethical
