1.1 term definition
Service software is the s part of the b/s or c/s structure, a service software system that provides services for B or C.
Service hardware to provide computing services such as hardware, PC, PC server.
Service entity refers to service software and service hardware.
Client refers to the software or hardware that accepts the services of the service entity.
1.2, two key characteristics
A cluster is a group of service entities that work together to provide a more scalable and usable service platform than a single service entity. In the clients eyes, a cluster is like a service entity, but in fact clusters are made up of a set of service entities. In comparison with a single service entity, a cluster provides the following two key features:
Scalability - the performance of a cluster is not limited to a single service entity, and new service entities can be dynamically added to the cluster, thereby enhancing cluster performance.
High availability - the cluster prevents the client from easily experiencing warnings from out of service through service entity redundancy. In a cluster, the same service can be provided by multiple service entities. If a service entity fails, another service entity will take over the failed service entity. The functionality provided by a cluster from one error - free service entity to another is enhanced by the availability of the application.
1.3, two abilities
In order to be scalable and highly available, the cluster must have the following two capabilities:
Load balancing - load balancing can distribute tasks fairly evenly to computing and network resources in a clustered environment.
Error recovery - for some reason, the resource that performs a task fails, and another service entity executes the same task and then completes the task. Because of the fact that the resources in one entity do not work, the res
