Structural design and optimization of Horizontal deep hole honing machine toolsAbstractHoning processing is an effective way of the inner hole machining, its effect is obvious. It can not only remove larger allowance and improve the inner hole geometry accuracy, but also can reduce the hole surface roughness.Honing processing are widely used in aviation, spaceflight, automobile, motorcycle, hydraulic pneumatic, oil pump and nozzle, industrial sewing machine, precision mould industry and other precision hole processing field for its high precision, high efficiency, wide applicability, reasonable price and easy operation etc. The demand of honing machine is obvious and the design of honing machine seems imminent.This paper, taking MK2120 horizontal deep hole honing machine as the research object, aims at the structure design of horizontal deep hole honing machine and the main components of the dynamic characteristics to improve the machining precision and machining efficiency rate.Main research contents and results of the paper:According to the honing processing principles and characteristics, the process of cutting movement, and the mechanical design principle, the structure design of horizontal deep hole honing machine is carried out, the size is determined and the CAD entity model is drawn.With the application of ANSYS Workbench platform, respectively analysis on honing head and honing machine base for finite element analysis, the solid modeling method, finite element modeling and modal analysis method of honing head and base is introduced and the first 10 natural frequency of the two key components is drawn, providing a basis for the optimization design of honing machine base.With the application of ANSYS Workbench platform, the base beam size of horizontal honing machine has been optimized, the relationship between the length, width and thickness of the base beam cross section and the base frequency are studied and a set of optimization scheme is obtained, so tha
