L.A. has more traffic than anywhere else in the U.S. In fact, owning a car is nearly a necessity in L.A. Because of the citys large urban sprawl. With no large downtown area, L.A. is more a collection of suburbs connected together. Shopping is another top attraction of the Los Angeles area, with such massive shopping opportunities as the three-story Beverly Center. Visitors can also shop on famed Rodeo Drive, known for its posh shops and celebrity sightings.;No matter what culture, cuisine or entertainment you like, you can probably find it somewhere in L.A. ;;Los Angeles has built its reputation on the glamour of the movies. Hollywood itself (in northwestern LA) is no longer the movie mecca（圣地）it once was, but it certainly holds plenty of historic interest. Take a walk down Hollywood Blvd and youll pass by famous sights such as Manns Chinese Theatre, where more than 150 of the glitterati（社会名流）have left their prints on the sidewalk out the front.
