What would result in this phenomenon and how can we solve this problem?这是一个严重的现象，在我们国家有很多大学生不会用英语和他人交流或者说一口准确、流利的英语已经成为一个严重的现象了。这个现象会导致什么样的结果呢，我们又该如何解决这个问题呢？As far as I am concerned, several reasons can account for this phenomenon and I would like to list some of them. First, lack of practice is the most important factor—most students in China do not pay enough attention to their oral English practice because they think they will not use it in their career frequently. Second, lack of the language environment is another reason. The majority of students in china will not be willing to speak English unless they are requested in class in that they will feel weird and uneasy if they use English to talk with others. In addition, some students are too shy and nervous to speak English fluently.我认为有几个理由可以解释这一现象，我想列出其中一些。第一，缺乏实践是最重要的因素——在中国大多数学生都不重视英语口语实践，因为他们认为在他们职业生涯中不会经常使用到它。第二，语言环境的缺乏也是另一个原因。大部分中国学生不愿意说英语，除非他们要求在课堂上说，因为如果他们用英语交流的话他们会感到奇怪和不安。此外，一些学生太害羞和紧张而无法说一口流利的英语。Taking above general reasons into accounting, I would like to make some suggestions to avoid “mute English”. For one thing, to correct the attitude is the most important. Students have to adjust their attitude towards oral English so that they will have further motivation to practice it well. For another, practice is equally important. As the saying goes, “practice makes perfect”. Students should practice their oral English as much as possible. Only in this way can they get a satisfying result and avoid “mute English”.根据以上的原因，我想提出一些建议来避免“哑巴英语”。首先，端正态度是最重要的。学生必须调整自己对英语口语的态度，这样他们才会有更深的动机来把英语口语练好。另一方面，实践是同样重要的。俗话说，“熟能生巧”。学生应该尽可能多的练习英语口语。只有这样他们才能得到一个令人满意的结果，避免“哑巴英语”。
