一、教学设计

教学内容:More Practice
课 型:综合技能课
教学时间:40分钟
教学目标:
1. 知识目标:通过有交际意义的听、说、读、写等活动,进一步巩固本单元所学的比较级内容,复习形容词比较级的形式和用法。
2. 能力目标:通过拓展听力、阅读练习,指导学生运用的阅读理解学习策略,培养阅读微技能,如:,—internet 。Listening和Reading task再现和巩固了本单元语法—形容词比较级,在Pair work和Group discussion中也要求学生使用比较级进行交际。Listening和Reading task帮助学生掌握已学的听力和阅读策略。
教学流程设计:

(1 min) Stimulate students’ interest and pave the way for the following activities. 1. Introduce desktop and laptop through photos.
2. Show the doll of CJ7 which is the alien dog in the film “CJ7” and tell Ss it wants to ask them for help because they know about computer and internet. Recognize CJ7 and decide whether to help it or not. Multi-media and show the doll of CJ7 Listening task
(6 mins) To review comparative degrees Ss have learnt in previous lessons while extending the topic. 1. Tell Ss CJ7 wants to buy a computer but it is not sure whether it should buy a desktop or a laptop. Tell Ss they are going to listen to a conversation between a salesman and CJ7.
2. Before listening, remind Ss of the listening skill--prediction.
3. Ask Ss to listen to the conversation and fill in a table comparing laptops and desktops.
4. After listening, emphasize the forms of comparative degrees. Ask Ss to present their advice to CJ7 on which computer to buy. 1. Before listening, review the listening skill--prediction.

(8 mins) 1. Guide Ss to note scanning skills.
2. Get enough input on the topic and get ready for the output tasks. 1. Tell Ss CJ7 wants to know about the internet. Ask questions: How often do you use the internet? Do you have an email box?
2. Before reading, ask Ss to have a short discussion and summarize the scanning skills.
