Zhou: Sorry, I almost forgot it. Yang: ( To Zhou ) Its much cooler here than outside. Hows that? Purser: Oh, thats the air-condition. Zhou: Look at the carpet on the floor. Its clean and beautiful. PRE-LISTENING Purser: The living space on board is limited, so theres little furniture in the cabin. See, only a desk, a wardrobe, two chairs, two beds. I mean a double-decker, etc. Zhou: Oh, much better than I expected. Purser: Which of you will take the upper bed? Zhou: I dont care. Yang: Neither do I. Purser: Easy, easy. ( Producing a coin ) You, Zhou, Im going to toss the coin to decide it. If this side is up, you take the upper bed; If otherwise —— Yang: Thats interesting. PRE-LISTENING Zhou: Good idea.
