The typical applications of X-ray CT and synchrotron CT used in microstructure of ce- ment-based materials, cement hydration process, inner fracture processes, durability and micro-particle shape analysis were summa- rized. A pilot investigation on interfacial transition zone by Nano-CT, which possesses the highest resolution, is presented.
