Effects of four factors including solid-liquid ratio , extraction temperature , ethanol volume fraction and extraction time on extraction amount of rutin were investigated by single factor experiment and response surface methodology. Re- sults indicated that ,factors influencing the rutin extraction amount were in the order as follows: solid-liquid ra- tioextraction temperatureethanol volume fractionextraction time. The optimum extraction conditions of rutin from buckwheat straw were as follows:solid-liquid ratio of 1 : 22(g: mL) , extraction temperature of 65 .C ,ethanol volume fraction of 60 %, and extraction time of 2. 0 h.
