Accessing “My Classroom Data” Background: Following the “Leading Assessment Learning” session, some questions arose regarding how teachers access My Classroom Data from the staff web. Below, you will find the instructions for teachers to access this data. Administrators can access this information and more on the School Improvement Planning Tool. Step 1: From the home page of the staff web, go to the teaching section. Step 2: On the Teaching page, select Assessment and Evaluation from the menu on the left side of the page. Step 3: Under Assessment and Evaluation, select Student Reporting. Step 4: You will then see the option for My Classroom Data. Even though the web site indicates that the information is available for JK to grade 8 teachers, it is infact available for all teachers who have students assigned to them in eSIS. This means that SERTs (and student success teachers, guidance counsellors, planning time teachers or FSL teachers) would need to access information in another way. Please contact me if you have questions about this. Step 5: Select My Classroom Data. A screen will appear to allow you to select what information you want. Please note there is an instructional video available if you required support beyond these instructions. The screen looks as follows: Step 6: Select the information you would like to see. Teachers will only have access to information for students who are currently on their class lists. When you have selected all the information you need, click on the condensed report button on the bottom of the screen. The report will open in either excel or html format, as selected by the teacher. An excel example is provided below. Please note identifying information has been removed in the example, but will be available to teachers.
