Supply Chain Management Analysis with Service Provision under
Disruption

Abstract: This paper focuses on a supply chain composed of a single supplier, a single retailer who faces the determinate
demand which is relevant to retail price and service level in a linear function, and the service cost function is quadratic. It
investigates the impact on the supply chain with service provision under service cost disruption when the retail price is
constant. We show the optimal response of the supply chain in the centralized decision making.

1.INTRODUCTION
This paper is concerned with a one- supplier-one- retailer supply chain in which the additional service can
be offered to its customers by the supplier. It uses the service to promote the actual demand, so that we can also
increase the profit of the partial or whole supply chain. In fact, there are many examples of services which be
offered by the supplier, such as the television factory provides use’s manual and free maintenance service and so
on. In the market economics, service is an important promotion factor for supplier and retailer. The performance
of supply chain is also influenced by service level.
In the absence of any disruption, the members in the supply chain operate smoothly. However, various
