Includes many powerful hardware accelerators for tasks such as motion video processing, graphic and image processing, digital audio processing, display manipulation and scaling. An integrated Full-Format Full-HD video Codec (FFC) supports encoding of JPEG/H.264 and decoding of JPEG/H.264/H.263/DIVX 3-4-5/Google VP 6-7-8/MPEG-1/Spark/MPEG-4/VC-1/WMV9/MPEG 1-2/RMVB 8-9-10/SVC/AVS etc.
Optimized interface to external memory and capable of sustaining the high memory bandwidths required in high-end communication services. The DRAM port can be configured to support 16/32-bit DDR3, DDR2, LPDDR2 and LPDDR. iMAPx15 also supports NOR-Flash, 2~256 bit ECC SLC/MLC/TLC NAND-Flash, etc.
To reduce total system cost and enhance overall functionality, the iMAPx15 includes many hardware peripherals such as HDMI, Camera Interface , TFT 24-bit true color LCD controller, System Manager, 3-channel UART/IrDA, 8-channel DMA, 5-channel Timers with 4 PWM output, General Purpose I/O Ports, I2S/PCM/SPDIF/AC97-Bus audio interface, DMIC/PWM-Audio interface, SSP interface, Key board interface, I2C-BUS interface, USB 2.0 Host OTG, SD/SDHC/SDIO Host Controller, Ethernet MAC and iMAPx15 Brief 2-7 PLLs for clock generation.
