Step 1 GreetingsGreet the students as usual.
Step 2 Warming up
Say:Yesterday,there was a rainstorm. IWhere were you when the rainstorm came? And What were you doing when the rainstorm came? Help the students to answer:I was sleeping when the rainstorm came. I was doing my homework when the rainstorm came….
Then show some pictures and ask the students:Where were they and what were they doing when the rainstorm came? Work in pairs and ask and answer like this:
A:Where were you when the rainstorm came?
B:I was in the library.
A:What were you doing when the rainstorm came?
