Unit 2 How often do you exercise? 第一课时(sectionA1a-1c) 初二英语 教学目标: 知识与技能: 恰当使用always, usually, often等频率副词以及一些日常活动短语,例如:watch TV, go shopping, read books, exercise.(P9-10) 过程与方法: 通过自主探究,了解业余活动的几种形式; 通过合作对话的练习,学会表达进行业余活动的频率。 3.情感态度与价值观: 使学生了解哪些食品是垃圾食品,平时应多吃什么食物,怎样锻炼身体保持健康。 重难点: 掌握一些频率副词:always,usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never 学习表达业余活动的频率的句型 教学方法:自主探究 合作对话 教具:多媒体 教学过程: Step1:lead-in T:What do you do on weekends? Boys and girls. St: I watch TV on weekends I do my homework on weekends. … T: How often do you watch TV?(从学生感兴趣的话题入手,询问学生周末会做什么,以引起学生学习兴趣) Step2:make a list First look at some pictures. Ask students what do they do on weekends.(让学生看着图片再用英语说一遍周末的活动,加强记忆,增强学生的自信心) help with housework ;go shopping; read books; exercise; watch TV… Step3:learn frequency words T: we have know our activities on weekends. Then, how often do you exercise? Next, let’s learn frequency words together. Always; usually ; often; sometimes; hardly ever; never T: we make some dialogues together. I make a question. Students answer to them. For example: T: How often do you exercise?(always) St: I always exercise. T: How often do you watch TV?(sometimes) St: I sometimes watch TV. (这一设计的目的是利用刚学过的频率副词进行造句,并加强师生之间的互动。) Step4:Listening(1b) First read the titles by themselves. And read the frequency words fluently. Finally listen to the recording twice. (平常不断的做听力练习,逐步提高学生的听力技能) Step5:pair work Show some pictures to students. Let students make conversations according to the picture and phrases. For example: A:What do you do on weekends? B: I usually watch TV. A: Do you go shopping? B: No, I never go shopping.
