Teaching Reform Program of “Figure Make-up Design
Abstract: In this paper, the research object is the reform of “Figure Make-up Design course, the research purpose is to explore new teaching models for “Figure Make-up Design course. This article analyzes existing problems in “Figure Make-up Design course, proposes the teaching concept of cultivating applied talents through increasing feeling of art, force of expression and playing creativity. Based on teaching practice and experience, the author discusses problems related to the course of “Figure Make-up Design.

Figure Make-up Design is a compulsory and basic course for students of image design major, it integrates aesthetics and application skills. The course requires strengthening theoretical basis, improving basic aesthetic literacy of students, as well as the improvement of students practical skills.
Along with the development of fashion trend, figure make-up field experiences profound change, the traditional teaching mode can no longer adapt to the demands of a new age. In order to adapt to new requirements on education and teaching system,cultivate high-quality talents with innovative abilities, corresponding reform in course system, teaching content, means and methods is needed.
1. Main problems exist in course of Figure Make-up Design
From the perspective of training applied talents, the main problems in the course of Figure Make-up Design are as follows. First, textbooks need to be updated constantly. As fashion trend change rapidly, people’s requirements on figure make-up also rise. Old teaching materials can not keep up with the development of times, they need constant updating; Second, teaching methods need to be improved.
