Target language: It lives in ….. They live in….. Ability aims : To enable the students to use the words and the expressions well in their life. To improve the students ability of communication, cooperation and studying by themselves. To develop the children’s observation and thing. Emotion aims :To cultivate the students’ sense of loving and protecting animals. Important points: To help the students use the new words and expressions properly. To talk about the endangered animals and difficult ways to protect them. Difficult points : To learn the correct pronunciation of the new word “koala, gorilla, ” To get the students do some communicative activities by using the target language. VI.Teaching aids: CAI hand-mask word pictures VII.Teaching process: Step1:Greatings; Show a hand-mask and say hello to the students. Step2.Lead-in: Teacher introduce the mask to the students . Teacher loves animals, then ask: Do you love animals? Today teacher show some new friends to you , let’s look! Step3:Presentation: Look at the screen and guess: What is it? Teacher guide students to answer with “It looks like….’’ Ask several students to say it Show the picture and word揺lephant?In the same way teacher shows the word揼orilla, koala mask设计意图:在猜动物的同时运用的句型It looks like…. Step4.Practise: Teacher ask students to describe the elephant with the simple words. Teacher teaches the word “gorilla”according to its pronunciations. Ask students to make sentences with the word.
