Here, the development features of present power systems HVDC Flexible AC and the importance of stability control are briefly presented. Transmission SystemsFACTS The application of nonlinear control to power system transient stability control in recent years is summarized, the present research situation of stability control for controlled objectives is described according to the classification of controlled objectives, and the synthesis and coordination of controls are discussed.
