With the rapid development of network technology , the mines information construction is increasing attention .However , at present the main domestic existing form of existing Ethernet switch is the explosion-proof , and the EX-Mark is Exd[ib]-I , with a big volume （606mm×503mm×231mm,660mm×442mm× 709mm ）, a heavy weight （80kg, 160kg ）, a high power consumption and a high cost. Some drawbacks of the explosive-proof switch are overcome by Intrinsic safety Ethernet switch , such as the small volume （360mm×240mm×120mm ）, the light weight （less than 5kg ）,and the lower power loss （less than 9W ）. In the basis of the Ethernet switch, according to the requirements of intrinsically safe circuit.
